This is a basic case without much in the way of friendly features. With some improvements it could be much better.

I recommend it only because the case protects to GPS to some degree and has a belt loop. The belt loop as a separate item costs 2/3rds the price of the case.

Pro:

  • It's an official Garmin item
  • It does not open all the way, but only partially, so the GPS will probably not fall out accidentally
  • There is no belt look on the GPS, but the case has a belt loop

Proti:

  • It would be better if the case had better protection for the GPS, extra protection for the antenna, space for a memory card or two, and protected pockets for extra batteries.
  • The case is not padded
